Ankush Saikia （India）

　　

Ankush Saikia was born in Assam state, India, in 1975. He has worked in journalism and publishing in New Delhi for over a decade and was shortlisted for the Outlook–Picador India non-fiction writing award (2005). He is the author of six novels, three of which form the detective Arjun Arora series. Saikia is currently based in Shillong and Tezpur in North-East India. His interests include travel, food, history, current affairs, and photography.
