Paulo Scott (Brazil)
Writer, playwright, screenwriter and cultural press collaborator. His stories were adapted as a movie, winning the Milano Film Festival in 2008. His works have been awarded numerous renowned prizes, such as: Winner of the 2006 Myriam Muniz National Theatre Prize . Winner of the 2012 Machado de Assis Prize from National Library Foundation; Winner of the 2014 Paulista Association of Arts Critics Award for the poetry collection. Winner of the 2016 Azores Literature Prize. The author was also shortlisted for the Portugal Telecom Prize for Portuguese-language Literature 2012, for the 2012 Literature Prize Casa da América Latina / Grupo Lena / Portugal, and for the 2016 International Dublin Literary Award. Currently he is working on the first draft of a novel called Rondonópolis.
