She (b. 1981) is a Bulgarian writer, journalist, botanical illustrator and photographer and also an Irish dance teacher and performer. She is the author of the short story collections The way of the ants (2013), and They never tell (2019). For the latter she was awarded third place in the national competition for short story collections Yordan Radichkov in 2020 and also shortlisted for the European Prize for Literature in 2021. Her short story “They never tell” won the national award for a short story Rashko Sugarev in 2016. Her short stories have appeared in numerous literary magazines in Bulgaria and abroad-into Serbian, Macedonian, French, English and Russian. In 2013 she participated in the Summer creative writing workshop, organized by Enthusiast Publishing House. In 2015 she participated in the International creative writing workshop, organized by Elizabeth Kostova foundation. She was a PhD student in Contemporary Bulgarian Literature and also taught creative writing in 2017-2018 in the Master program of Creative writing.

She is the author and speaker of the Sunday radio show Sunrise at Bulgarian national radio for agriculture, local food sustainability and crafts. Among the two books in project – the short story collection A View through the Window and the novel The WardianCase, she is currently working on a documentary about the local food sustainability and small producers and farms in Bulgaria. She is editor of the educational book for children Vitan, The Frog or How an Adventure Became a Salvation by Emilia Zafiraki, published in 2021. Since 2017 she is an author and a co-editor of the online magazine for Literature and Culture Free poetry society of which she is also a co-founder. In March, 2024 her first solo exhibition as a photographer Sub Specie Lucis took place at Little bird place gallery in Sofia, presenting a series of photographs of the blossoms of various plants, which reflect her long-term interests in botany.
